  • high-performance barrier screw

  • main characteristics:
    • approx. 30 % higher plasticizing rate compared to Unimelt, less material shearing

  • most common applications:
    • fast-cycling packaging parts of PP, PE, PS or TPU

 

Screw geometry COLOURMELT

    • mixing screw with last 2D being a toothed disk mixing section

    • L/D ratio: 22:1

    • main characteristics:
      • recommended for coloring with masterbatch, improves homogeneity of color, reduces percentage of masterbatch necessary

    • most common applications:
      • coloring with masterbatch or liquid color
