The Insider – injection molding machine and automation all in one.

It couldn’t be simpler! With the Insider solution the automation is supplied with the machine. By integrating the parts removal robot, conveyor and any other pre- or post-finishing auxiliaries into the injection molding machine the Insider brings a host of benefits:

  • You need up to 50 % less floor space than for conventional automation systems.
  • The material flow is improved. You can remove all molded parts from the clamp end which makes it easier to place several machines in line.
  • Reduced robot cycle time result from shorter strokes and the immediate placement of parts on the conveyor belt.
  • Separate guarding is no longer an issue: you save money and still meet all safety requirements.
  • With each Insider you get a CE  Certificate for safety testing of all components integrated together, so you save on performing a number of separate tests and their associated costs.
  • The compact design of the Insider stands out against conventional automated systems made of a variety of separate components, e.g. the robot switch cabinet is integrated in the z-axis.

The Insider combines the injection molding machine of your choice with an automated parts removal robot and conveyor in a single, compact, space saving unit. Tailor-made pre- and postfinishing auxiliaries can be integrated as desired. The Insider is supplied as standard for machines up to 300 t clamping force. All the grippers and other devices are equipped with quick change mechanisms, which significantly shorten changeovers.

 

Easy access – no problem

When developing the Insider, it was stressed that the desired benefits of the concept should not be at the cost of accessibility to the injection molding machine. By making the conveyor and the parts placement area easy to move, access to the injection molding machine is just as good as for a machine without automation.
 

Produce more economically

The space saving design of the Insider not only improves the material flow to the injection molding machine, also the practical removal of parts at the end of the clamp unit allows a better layout for several machines.

The fully integrated automation system allows the visualization, setting and saving of robot data via the machine‘s touch screen control system.
