The BFMOLD™ technology (Ball Filled MOLD) is a variotherm process, which enables a cooling process fitting closely around the contours with simultaneous high water flow rates. Only those parts of the mold that are close to the cavity are heated, which ensures extremely fast and energy-efficient heating and cooling processes.
Thanks to the use of specially adapted Wittmann tempering units, the Variotherm process is precisely controlled. There are no traces of joint lines or sink marks. The molded parts show a flawless reflection of the cavity´s polished, high-gloss surface.
Instead of conventional tempering channels, the entire space below the cavity is utilized for tempering and can thus be used very near and plane below the cavity for heating and/or cooling.
